Verse 13
आहुत्स्वामृषयः सर्वे देवर्षिनरदस्तथा । असितो देवलो व्यासः स्वयं चैव ब्रवीषि मे ॥१३॥
Hindi Translation
वैसे ही देवर्षि नारद तथा असित और देवल ऋषि तथा महर्षि व्यास भी कहते हैं और स्वयं आप भी मेरे प्रति कहते हैं।
English Translation
Likewise speak the celestial sage Narada, the sages Asita and Devala and the great sage Vyasa; and Yourself too proclaim this to me.

Verse 14
सर्वमेतदृत्तं मम्ये यन्मां वदसि केशव। न हि ते भगवान्यक्तिं विदुर्देवा न दानवाः॥१४॥
Hindi Translation
हे केशव! जो कुछ भी मेरे प्रति आप कहते हैं, इस सबको मैं सत्य मानता हूँ। हे भगवान! आपके लीलामय स्वरूप को न तो दानव जानते हैं और न देवता ही जानते हैं॥१४॥
English Translation
Krsna, I believe as true all that You tell me, Lord, neither demons nor gods are aware of Your manifestation through sport.

Verse 15
स्वयमेवात्मनात्मानं वेत्थ त्वं पुरुषोत्तम। भूतभावन भूतेश देवदेव जगत्पते॥१५॥
Hindi Translation
हे भूतों को उत्पन्न करने वाले! हे भूतों के ईश्वर! हे देवों के देव! हे जगत के स्वामी! हे पुरुषोत्तम! आप स्वयं ही अपने से अपने को जानते हैं॥१५॥
English Translation
O creator of beings, O Ruler of creatures, O God of gods, the Lord of the universe, O supreme Purusa, You alone know what You are by Yourself.

Verse 16
वत्त्वमर्ह्यशेषेण दिव्याख्यातमविभूतयः | याभिर्विभूतिभिर्लोकानिमांसं व्याप्ततिष्ठसि || १६ ||
Hindi Translation
इसलिए आप ही उन अपनी दिव्य विभूतियों को सम्पूर्णता से कहने में समर्थ हैं, जिन विभूतियों के द्वारा आप इन सब लोकों को व्याप्त करके स्थित हैं ॥१६॥
English Translation
Therefore, You alone can describe in full Your divine glories, whereby You stand pervading all these worlds. (16)

Verse 17
कथं विद्यमहं योगिंस्त्वां सदा परिचिन्तयन् | केषु केषु च भावेषु चिन्त्योऽसि भगवान् मया || १७ ||
Hindi Translation
हे योगेश्वर! मैं किस प्रकार निरंतर चिन्तन करता हुआ आपको जानूँ और हे भगवान्! आप किन-किन भावों में मेरे द्वारा चिन्तन करने योग्य हैं? ॥१७॥
English Translation
O Master of Yoga, through what process of continuous meditation shall I know You? And in what particular forms, O Lord, are You to be meditated upon by me? (17)

Verse 18
विस्तरेणात्मनो योगं विभूतिं च जनार्दन। भूयः कथय तृष्टिहि श्रण्वतो नास्ति मेऽमृतमू॥१८॥
Hindi Translation
हे जनार्दन! अपनी योग शक्ति को और विभूति को फिर भी विस्तारपूर्वक कहिये, क्योंकि आपके अमृतमय वचनों को सुनते हुए मेरी तृष्टि नहीं होती अर्थात् सुनने की उत्कण्ठा बनी ही रहती है॥१८॥
English Translation
Krsna, tell me once more in detail Your power of Yoga and Your glory; for I know no satiety in hearing Your nectar-like words.

Verse 19
हन्त ते कथयिष्यामि दिव्यं हालविभूतयः। प्राधान्यतः कुरुश्रेष्ठ नास्त्यस्ति विस्तरस्य मे॥१९॥
Hindi Translation
श्रीभगवान बोले— हे कुरुश्रेष्ठ! अब मैं जो मेरी दिव्य विभूतियाँ हैं, उनको तेरे लिये प्रधानता से कहूँगा; क्योंकि मेरे विस्तार का अन्त नहीं है॥१९॥
English Translation
Sri Bhagavan said: Arjuna, now I shall tell you My conspicuous divine glories; for there is no limit to My magnitude.

Verse 20
अहमात्मा गुडाकेश सर्वभूताशयस्थितः । अहमादिश्च मध्यं च भूतानामन्त एव च ॥२०॥
Hindi Translation
हे अर्जुन ! मैं सब भूतों के हृदय में स्थित सबका आत्मा हूँ तथा सम्पूर्ण भूतों का आदि, मध्य और अन्त भी मैं ही हूँ ॥२०॥
English Translation
Arjuna I am the universal Self seated in the heart of all beings; so I alone am the beginning and middle and also the end of all beings.

Verse 21
आदित्यनामहं विष्णुर्ज्योतिषां रविश्शुमान् । मरिचिर्मरुतामस्मि नक्षत्राणामहं शशी ॥२१॥
Hindi Translation
मैं अदिति के बारह पुत्रों में विष्णु और ज्योतियों में किरणों वाला सूर्य हूँ तथा मैं उनचास वायुदेवताओं में मरीचि नामक वायुदेवता और नक्षत्रों का अधिपति चन्द्रमा हूँ ॥२१॥
English Translation
I am Visnu among the twelve sons of Aditi, and the radiant sun among the luminaries; I am the glow of the Maruts (the fortynine wind-gods), and the moon among the stars.

वेदनां सामवेदोऽस्मि देवानामस्मि वासवः | इन्द्रियाणां मनश्चास्मि भूतानामस्मि चेतना ॥२२॥
Hindi Translation
मैं वेदों में सामवेद हूँ, देवों में इन्द्र हूँ, इन्द्रियों में मन हूँ और भूत प्राणियों की चेतना अर्थात् जीवनी शक्ति हूँ ॥२२॥
English Translation
Among the Vedas, I am the Samaveda; among the gods, I am Indra. Among the organs of perception etc., I am the mind; and I am the consciousness (life-energy) in living beings. (22)

रुद्राणां शंकरश्चास्मि वितेशो यक्षक्षसाम् | वसूनां पावकश्चास्मि मेरुः शिखरिणामहम् ॥२३॥
Hindi Translation
मैं एकादश रुद्रों में शंकर हूँ और यक्ष तथा राक्षसों में धन का स्वामी कुबेर हूँ। मैं आठ वसुओं में अग्नि हूँ और शिखर वाले पर्वतों में सुमेरु पर्वत हूँ ॥२३॥
English Translation
Among the eleven Rudras (gods of destruction); I am Siva; and among the Yaksas and Raksasas; I am the Lord of riches (Kubera). Among the eight Vasus, I am the god of fire: and among the mountains, I am the Meru. (23)

पुरोधसां च मुख्यमां विद्धि पार्थ बृहस्पतिम् । सेनानीनामहं स्कन्दः सरसामस्मि सागरः ॥२४॥
Hindi Translation
पुरोहितों में मुखिया बृहस्पति मुझको जान। हे पार्थ! मैं सेनापतियों में स्कन्द और जलाशयों में समुद्र हूँ॥२४॥
English Translation
Among the priests, Arjuna, know Me to be their chief, Brhaspati. Among warrior-chiefs, I am Skanda (the generalissimo of the gods); and among the waters; I am the ocean.
