Sanskrit
ते तं भुक्त्वा स्वर्गलोकं विशालं क्षीणे पुण्ये मृत्युलोकं विशन्ति | एवं त्रयोधर्ममुपपद्य गतागतं कामकाम लभन्ते ॥२७॥
Hindi Translation
वे उस विशाल स्वर्ग लोक को भोग कर पुण्य क्षीण होने पर मृत्यु लोक को प्राप्त होते हैं। इस प्रकार स्वर्ग के साधन रूप तीनों वेदों में कहे हुए सकाम कर्म का आश्रय लेने वाले और भोगों की कामना वाले पुरुष बार-बार आवागमन को प्राप्त होते हैं, अर्थात् पुण्य के प्रभाव से स्वर्ग में जाते हैं और पुण्य क्षीण होने पर मृत्यु लोक में आते हैं ॥२७॥
English Translation
Having enjoyed the extensive heaven-world, they return to this world of mortals on the stock of their merits being exhausted. Thus devoted to the ritual with interested motive recommended by the three Vedas (as the means of attaining heavenly bliss), and seeking worldly enjoyments, they repeatedly come and go(i.e., ascend to heaven by virtue of their merits and return to earth when their fruit has been enjoyed)

अनन्याश्चिन्तयन्तो मां ये जनाः पर्युपासते । तेषां नियताभियुक्तानां योगक्षेमं वहाम्यहम् ॥२२॥
Hindi Translation
जो अन्य प्रेमी भक्त जन मुझ परमेश्वर को निरंतर चिन्तन करते हुए निष्काम भाव से भजते हैं, उन नित्य-निरन्तर मेरा चिन्तन करने वाले पुरुषों का योग क्षेत्र में स्वयं प्राप्त कर देता हूँ ॥२२॥
English Translation
The devotees, however, who loving no one else constantly think of Me, and worship Me in a disinterested spirit, to those ever united in thought with Me I bring full security and personally attend to their needs.

यज्ञपुण्यदेवता भक्ताः यजन्ते श्रद्धयान्विताः । तेषिपि मामेव कौन्तेय यजन्त्यविधिपूर्वकम् ॥२३॥
Hindi Translation
यज्ञ पुण्य देवता भक्त श्रद्धा से यज्ञ करते हैं। हे कौन्तेय! वे भी विधिपूर्वक यज्ञ करते हुए मुझ ही की पूजा करते हैं ॥२३॥
English Translation
The devotees who worship the gods with faith and perform sacrifices, they also worship Me, O son of Kunti, performing their duties in the prescribed manner.

अहं हि सर्वयज्ञानां भोक्ता च प्रभुरेव च । न तु मामभिजानन्ति तत्त्वेनातश्च्यवन्ति ते ॥२४॥
Hindi Translation
क्यों सम्पूर्ण यज्ञों का भोक्ता और स्वामी भी मैं ही हूँ; परंतु वे मुझ परमेेश्वर को तत्त्व से नहीं जानते, इसी से गिरते हैं अर्थात् पुनर्जन्म को प्राप्त करते हैं ॥२४॥
English Translation
For I am the enjoyer and also the lord of all sacrifices; but they know Me not in reality (as the supreme Deity), hence they fall (i.e., return to life on earth). (24)

यान्ति देवव्रता देवान्पितृन्यान्ति पितृव्रता: | भूतानि यान्ति भूतज्ञा यान्ति मधाजिनोऽपि माम् ||२५||
Hindi Translation
देवताओं को पूजने वाले देवताओं को प्राप्त होते हैं, पितरों को पूजने वाले पितरों को प्राप्त होते हैं, भूतों को पूजने वाले भूतों को प्राप्त होते हैं और मेरा पूजन करने वाले भक्त मुझ को ही प्राप्त होते हैं। इसलिए मेरे भक्तों का पुनर्जन्म नहीं होता॥२५॥
English Translation
Those who are vowed to gods go to the gods; those who are vowed to the manes reach the manes; those who adore the spirits reach the spirits and those who worship Me come to Me alone. (That is why My devotees are no longer subject to birth and death).

पत्रं पुष्पं फलं तोयं यो मे भक्त्या प्रयच्छति | तदहं भक्त्युपहृतमश्नामि प्रयतात्मन: ||२६||
Hindi Translation
जो कोई भक्त मेरे लिये प्रेम से पत्र, पुष्प, फल, जल आदि अर्पण करता है, उस शुद्ध बुद्धि निष्काम प्रेमी भक्त का प्रेमपूर्वक अर्पण किया हुआ वह पत्र-पुष्पादि मैं सगुण रूप से प्रकट होकर प्रीतिसहित खाता हूँ॥२६॥
English Translation
Whoever offers Me with devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or water, I accept that pure-hearted devotee’s offering with love.

यत्करोषि यदश्नासि यज्जुहोषि ददासि यत् | यतपस्यसि कौन्तेय तत्कुरुष्व मदर्पणम् ॥२७॥
Hindi Translation
हे अर्जुन! तू जो कर्म करता है, जो खाता है, जो हवन करता है, जो दान देता है और जो तप करता है, वह सब मेरे अर्पण कर।
English Translation
Arjuna, whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer as oblation to the sacred fire, whatever you bestow as a gift, whatever you do by way of penance, offer it all to Me.

शुभाशुभफलेरवं मोक्षसे कर्मबन्धने | संन्यासयोगयुक्तात्मा विमुक्तो मामुपैष्यसि ॥२८॥
Hindi Translation
इस प्रकार, जिसमें समस्त कर्म मुझ भगवान् के अर्पण होते हैं—ऐसे संन्यास योग से मुक्त होकर मुझको ही प्राप्त होगा।
English Translation
Thus, the soul who is devoted to Me, renouncing the fruits of all actions, is freed from bondage to work and attains liberation.

समोऽहं सर्वभूतेषु न मे द्वेष्योऽस्ति न प्रियः। ये भजन्ति तु मां भक्त्या मयि ते तेषु चाप्यहम्॥२९॥
Hindi Translation
मैं सब भूतों में समभाव से व्यापक हूँ, न कोई मेरा अप्रिय है और न प्रिय है; परन्तु जो भक्त मुझको प्रेम से भजते हैं, वे मुझमें हैं और मैं भी उनमें प्रत्यक्ष प्रकट हूँ॥२९॥
English Translation
I am equally present in all beings; there is none hateful or dear to Me. They, however, who devoutly worship Me abide in Me; and I too stand revealed in them.

Sanskrit
अपि चेत्सुदुराचारो भजते मामनन्यभाक्। साधुरेव स मन्तव्यः सम्यग्व्यवस्थितो हि सः॥३०॥
Hindi Translation
यदि कोई अत्यंत दुर्जन भी मुझको एकाकी भाव से भजता है, तो वह निश्चित ही साधु ही समझा जाना चाहिए, क्योंकि वह सम्यक् व्यवस्थित है॥३०॥
English Translation
Even if one commits the worst deeds, if he worships Me with exclusive devotion, he should be considered righteous, for he is rightly resolved.
