Sanskrit
अहमात्मा गुडाकेश सर्वभूताशयस्थितः । अहमादिश्च मध्यं च भूतानामन्त एव च ॥२०॥
Hindi Translation
हे अर्जुन ! मैं सब भूतों के हृदय में स्थित सबका आत्मा हूँ तथा सम्पूर्ण भूतों का आदि, मध्य और अन्त भी मैं ही हूँ ॥२०॥
English Translation
Arjuna I am the universal Self seated in the heart of all beings; so I alone am the beginning and middle and also the end of all beings.

आदित्यनामहं विष्णुर्ज्योतिषां रविश्शुमान् । मरिचिर्मरुतामस्मि नक्षत्राणामहं शशी ॥२१॥
Hindi Translation
मैं अदिति के बारह पुत्रों में विष्णु और ज्योतियों में किरणों वाला सूर्य हूँ तथा मैं उनचास वायुदेवताओं में मरीचि नामक वायुदेवता और नक्षत्रों का अधिपति चन्द्रमा हूँ ॥२१॥
English Translation
I am Visnu among the twelve sons of Aditi, and the radiant sun among the luminaries; I am the glow of the Maruts (the fortynine wind-gods), and the moon among the stars.
