अनन्यश्चास्मि नागानां वरुणो यदसामहम् | पितृणामर्थमा चास्मि यमः संयमातमहम् || २९ ||
Hindi Translation
मैं नागों में शेष नाग और जलचरौं का अधिपति वरुण देवता हूँ और पितरों में अर्यमा नामक पितर तथा शासन करने वालों में यमराज मैं हूँ। ॥ २९ ॥
English Translation
Among Nagas (a special class of serpents), I am the serpent-god Ananta; and I am Varuna, the lord of aquatic creatures. Among the manes, I am Aryama (the head of the Pitars), and among rulers, I am Yama (the God of death).

प्रह्लदश्च्यासी दैत्यानां कालः कलयतामहम् । मृगाणां च मृगेन्द्रोऽहं वैनतेयश्च पक्षिणाम् ॥३०॥
Hindi Translation
मैं दैत्यों में प्रह्लाद और गणना करने वालों का समय हूँ तथा पशुओं में मृगराज सिंह और पक्षियों में गरुड हूँ ॥३०॥
English Translation
Among the Daityas, I am the great devotee Prahlada; and among reckoners, I am Time. So among quadrupeds, I am the lion; and among birds, I am Garuda.
