Chapter 15 Purushottama Yoga

न तद्भासयते सूर्यो न शशाङ्को न पावकः । यद्गत्वा न निवर्तन्ते तद्धाम परमं मम ॥६॥
Hindi Translation
जिस परमपद को प्राप्त होकर मनुष्य लौटकर संसार में नहीं आते, उस स्वयं प्रकाश परमपद को न सूर्य प्रकाशित कर सकता है, न चन्द्रमा और न अग्नि ही; वही मेरा परमधाम है ॥६॥
English Translation
Neither the sun nor the moon nor even fire can illumine that supreme self-effulgent state, attaining to which they never return to this world. That is My supreme Abode. (15.6)

ममेवान्शो जीवलोके जीवभूतः सनातनः । मनःषष्ठानीन्द्रियाणि प्रकृतिस्थानि कर्त्ति ॥७॥
Hindi Translation
इस देह में यह सनातन जीवात्मा मेरा ही अंश है और वही इन प्रकृति में स्थित मन और पाँचों इन्द्रियों को आकर्षण करता है ॥७॥
English Translation
The eternal Jivatma in this body is a particle of My own being; and it is that alone which draws round itself the mind and the five senses, which rest in Prakrti. (7)
