Verse 38
Sanskrit
कच्चित्रोभयविभ्रष्टश्छिन्नाश्राभिमव नश्यति। अप्रतिष्ठो महाबाहो विमूढो ब्रह्मणः पथि॥३८॥
Hindi Translation
हे महाबाहो ! क्या वह भगवत्त्वापत्ति के मार्ग में मोहित और आश्रयरहित पुरुष छिन्न-भिन्न बादल की भाँति दोनों ओर से भ्रष्ट होकर नष्ट तो नहीं हो जाता ? ॥ ३८ ॥
English Translation
Kṛṣṇa, strayed from the path leading to God-Realization and without anything to stand upon, is he not lost like the torn cloud, deprived of both God-Realization and heavenly enjoyment? (38)

एतन्मे संशयं कृष्ण छेदुमर्हस्यशेषतः। त्वदन्यः संशयस्य छेत्ता न धुपपद्यते॥३९॥
Hindi Translation
हे श्रीकृष्ण ! मेरे इस संशय को सम्पूर्ण रूप से छेदन करने के लिये आप ही योग्य हैं, क्योंकि आपके सिवा दूसरा इस संशय का छेदन करनेवाला मिलना सम्भव नहीं है ॥ ३९ ॥
English Translation
Kṛṣṇa, it behoves You to slash this doubt of mine completely; for none other than You can be found, who can tear this doubt. (39)
