अश्रद्धधानाः पुरुषा धर्मस्यास्य परंतप | अप्राप्य मां निवर्तन्ते मृत्युसंसारवर्त्मनि || ३ ||
Hindi Translation
हे परंतप! इस उपयुक्त धर्म में श्रद्धा रहित पुरुष मुझको न प्राप्त होकर मृत्यु रूप संसार चक्र में भ्रमण करते रहते हैं ॥ ३ ॥
English Translation
O Arjuna, those who have no faith in this dharma, O conqueror of enemies, they do not attain Me, but return to the cycle of birth and death.

मया तत्मिदं सर्वं जगदव्यक्तमूर्तिना । मत्स्थानि सर्वभूतानि न चाहं तेष्ववस्थितः ॥४॥
Hindi Translation
मुझे निराकार परमात्मा से यह सब जगत् जल से बरफ के सदृश परिपूर्ण है और सब भूत मेरे अन्तर्गत संकल्प के आधार स्थित हैं, किंतु वास्तव में मैं उनमें स्थित नहीं हूँ ॥४॥
English Translation
The whole of this universe is permeated by Me as unmanifest Divinity, and all beings rest on the idea within Me. Therefore, really speaking, I am not present in them.
